I have read most of Joyce Meyer’s book, and she
never fails to amaze and encourage me to be the
best possible woman that I can be. Although she
writes for both men and women, I think her
message is especially relevant to women,
       especially in this book.

Her message is that we should not feel guilty
to celebrate our successes. We are not guilt for
guilt, and individuals who are guilty cannot live
a fruitful and self-actualized life that is
healthy and balanced. She has eight keys to
       happiness. They are as follows:

       1. Eat a cookie…buy the shoes. Do something
that you like and that you enjoy and don’t feel
       guilty about it.

       2. Experiment to see what you really enjoy in
life. Choose at least ten different things.

       3. Reward yourself for progress and don’t beat
       yourself up if you fail.

       4. Learn to lighten up. Don’t be so intense
       about life and its problems.

       5. Celebrate discipline because its not your
       enemy but your friend.

       6. Discipline yourself to celebrate.

       7. Celebrate because you are worth it!

       8. Celebrate Jesus because He is the greatest
and most awesome gift that we have.

If we follow these tenets, we will indeed be
much happier and much more fulfilled.
